Finally, the British government also reacted, through an official statement, it took a stand against the Super League and promised that it will legally prohibit the clubs from becoming part of it.

" The attempt to create a separate competition was a watershed moment for English football, universally condemned by fans, clubs and the government itself. We will soon introduce a law that will prohibit clubs from becoming part of separatist leagues that may be created in the future ," the government statement said.

Meanwhile, the historic English club Manchester United also reacted officially, reassuring the fans and emphasizing that it will never become part of the Super League or similar leagues that may be created in the future.
