Tragedy in Algerian football, the team bus crashes, the goalkeeper and the assistant coach die

A tragedy shook the football world in Algeria. The bus transporting the team of MC El Bajadh, from League 1 of Algeria, overturned while traveling to "Tizi Uzu" for the match against JS Kabili.

According to the authorities, the goalkeeper Zakaria Bouziani, 27 years old, and the assistant coach, Khalid Muftah, part of Muludia El Bajad, died as a result of their injuries.

It is also reported that several other players have been injured, while there is still no information about their health status.

The president of the Algerian Football Federation (which suspended the national championships), Valid Sadia, commented that he had learned "with extreme sadness the news of the tragic road accident that left the MC El-Bajadh club in mourning, and which led to the death of two members of this club".
