One of the most promising talents in world football, Lamine Yamal, is already a key figure for Barcelona and the Spanish national team despite being only 18 years old. But recently, attention has not only been focused on his performance on the pitch.
According to renowned journalist Romain Molina, Yamal's family has requested special privileges from the Catalan club, including the use of private jets, exclusive access to photos, and other personal favors. Barcelona, according to Molina, rarely refuses, to avoid tensions or resentment that could damage the relationship with the young star.
In a video published on his YouTube channel with over 400,000 subscribers, Molina adds that the requests do not come directly from the player, but from his close family circle, including relatives or close friends.
Lamine Yamal is currently out injured with a hip problem. He was withdrawn from Spain's squad for the October matches against Georgia and Bulgaria.
Barcelona announced on October 3 that his recovery time is expected to be 2 to 3 weeks, which means Yamal could be ready for the match against Girona on October 18, in La Liga.
Yamal is already one of the highest-paid players in the Barcelona squad, with an annual salary of nearly 40 million euros before tax, or around £644,000 a week, securing his and his family's financial future from a very young age.
Since debuting with Barcelona in 2023, Yamal has been a decisive factor in two La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey and a Spanish Super Cup, as well as Spain's success at Euro 2024.
