This Monday, Angel Bejar, the mother of Luis Rubiales, the temporarily suspended president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, locked herself in the Divina Pastora church in Motril and announced a hunger strike.
Bejar justified her closure until a solution is found for "the inhumane and bloody hunt they are doing to her son with something he does not deserve".
After 24 hours of testing, the mother of Luis Rubiales spoke about "El programa del verano" on "Telecinco", where she repeated that she has no intention of leaving isolation until her son's situation is resolved.
" I'm fine, I believe a lot in God and I'm looking for the truth. I'll be here as long as my body can handle it. I will not stop until Xheni Hermoso tells the truth ", she said.
In addition, Anjhel Bejar left a strong statement: " I have no problem dying for justice. My son is a decent person and what they are doing is not right ."
Rubiales' mother hopes that Xheni Hermoso " keeps the version she had at the beginning of the events". She believes that her son is the one who is suffering "an inhumane and bloody hunt ".
The confinement of Angel Bejar in the church of the Kapučinos neighborhood of Motril will last "infinitely, day and night" until justice is done with her son.
