Former Chelsea and West Ham striker Carlton Cole has revealed how he was once tricked by Wayne Rooney into taking Viagra before an England training session.
Rooney, along with Jermaine Defoe and Sean Wright Phillips, decided to play a prank on Cole who didn't suspect his friends, thinking he was taking a vitamin.
The blue pill left Carlton Cole feeling uncomfortable, while his "Three Lions" teammates held their stomachs with laughter.
Recalling the 2009 incident, Kol told the Footballer's Guide to Football podcast: “I wasn't sexually aroused, it was just there. I was the fastest person on that field, I had 'three legs'.
I had erased this episode from my memory, but you are bringing back bad memories.”
Defoe, also on the podcast, said Kol was the perfect victim.
" Carlton was always smiling, happy, and so we thought we could joke with him. He drank the Viagra that Runi threw at him because he was thinking: "Oh, yes, vitamins, good for my body! When we told him the truth, you could see his face. "
