Family, friends and relatives said their last "farewell" today to 29-year-old Michalis Katsouris, who was killed after a hooligan attack in New Philadelphia on Monday night in Athens.

With bouquets of flowers in hand, AEK friends bid the 29-year-old a final farewell at the church of Agios Konstantinos in Elefsina. The coffin was decorated with yellow roses and an original AEK scarf.
The municipality of Elefsina announced that until the burial of Michalis Katsouris, there will be no sports or cultural events in the city.
" As a sign of mourning for the unjust loss of our fellow citizen, 29-year-old Michalis Katsouri, and until the funeral procession, no sports or cultural activities will take place within the borders of our Municipality.
