The Swedish Football Association has decided to sack coach Jon Dahl Tomason following Sweden's disastrous performance in the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, which has left them bottom of Group B with a very slim chance of qualifying for next year's tournament.

The second defeat against Kosovo was the 'drop that spilled the cup' for the Swedish Football Association. Tomason is being sacked after one point in four matches in these World Cup qualifiers.
