The former Albanian boxer from Kosovo, Besar Nimani, was killed today in the city of Bielefeld in Germany. This was announced by the family members of the deceased. According to media reports in Germany and based on witness statements at the scene, Nimani was shot as soon as he left the restaurant.
The sad news was announced by the brother of the deceased, Berat Nimani, through a post on social networks.
" My brother Besar Nimani was killed today in an ambush in Bielefeld, Germany. May God join us in heaven with him. I am proud of you, my soul has been betrayed by many, but no one has ever killed me. I love you ," he wrote.
According to witness reports, a group of five to six people were sitting together in a bar. They are then said to have all left the restaurant together. Then suddenly there were shots outside the restaurant. He was reportedly shot six to eight times at the scene.
According to the prestigious Bild , the 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical team. The perpetrators of this murder have not been identified by the German authorities, while a similar attack on him had also occurred in 2013.
During his career as a professional boxer, Nimani has fought 27 matches, where he managed to score victories in 26 of them, while suffering only one loss.
