Scuderia Mercedes is sabotaging the work of its pilot, Lewis Hamilton. According to what is reported by the famous British newspaper "Daily Mail", in an article by Jonathan McEvoy, an e-mail message sent by an anonymous employee is mentioned in which very serious accusations are made regarding acts of sabotage against Hamilton, who will leave the Scuderia at the end of 2024 to join Ferrari.
The email is dated June 10. A situation that in some way reminds of what happened with Christian Horner at Red Bull, who was also involved in a rather delicate situation. According to what is reported, Mercedes is trying to understand who the person is and at the same time wants to distance themselves from the said content.
However, as noted in McEvoy's article, it was all confirmed by a source within the team, who noted:
" Some of us in the team are unhappy with the systematic sabotage of Hamilton and his car, his tire strategy, his race tactics and the consequences associated with it. The psychophysical balance is disrupted and some unpleasant things are happening that people need to be aware of ."
It remains only to understand the developments of the story and the authenticity of this e-mail. Undoubtedly, the seven-time world champion is facing a complicated year in Formula 1 and the results are not up to his expectations.
