Keidi Bare has officially left Espanyol. The Albanian midfielder has parted ways with the Spanish club after four years. He has been engaged in La Liga 2 for two seasons, while in the elite he has developed 2 editions with this jersey. The 26-year-old played 39 games in the last season, where he gave 3 assists.
In the post made, Bare thanks everyone for the support, all these years:
" Goodbyes are usually bittersweet, but I'll try to keep the good things. As many of you already know, unfortunately I will not continue with Espanyol because that is what they have decided. It has been a very intense four years. Many beautiful moments, for example this last season where we managed to climb to La Liga, but also other complicated ones, like those experienced this season. I leave with my head held high for having left the team where it deserves to be, in the Spanish elite, but above all because I gave everything in every minute that I defended this jersey on the field.
It's my way of understanding football and I hope you Espanyol fans will remember me like this, as a fighter who broke his chest for Espanyol's shield. I want to thank the coaches and technical staff, my teammates, the club workers... But above all, I thank you fans for making me feel so loved and feeling your unconditional support at every moment. Here you have one more fan. Thank you to "Pericos" for four unforgettable years , writes Keidi Bare in his farewell letter to the club.
For the midfielder, there are already three tracks for the future. In Spain, Rajo Vajekano and Leganes are two of the teams that have shown interest, and Olympiacos of Piraeus in Greece is also a possible option.
