A perfect evening for Inter and their captain, Lautaro Martínez, who brought the Nerazzurri three important points and confirmation at the top of the standings. The team led by Cristian Chivu dominated almost the entire match, playing a match without much history against Bologna.
The first half ended with a minimal 1-0 advantage for Inter, a result that was maintained thanks to spectacular saves by goalkeeper Ravaglia, who avoided a deeper defeat for the visitors. However, the advantage of the nigre-navello was clearly reflected in the game and in the number of chances created.
In the second half, Inter increased the pressure and delivered the final blow, triumphing 3-1. The goal conceded remained the only serious moment of distraction for the defense, while the rest of the match was managed with authority by the home team.
The absolute protagonist was Lautaro Martínez, author of a goal typical of a striker and some high-level technical actions, confirming once again his key role in this Inter aiming for the title.
Coach Chivu appeared pleased not only with the second consecutive victory against top-level teams, following the success against Atalanta, but also with the many alternatives at his disposal, especially in midfield. However, a point of concern remains the right wing, where Luis Henrique is still not reaching the level of the rest of the team.
On the other hand, Bologna recorded one of the least convincing performances of the season, perhaps as a result of mental fatigue and the limited influence of its leader, Orsolini, who was only activated for around 20 minutes.
