There will be a meeting tomorrow, which is expected to decide on the exclusion of Israeli clubs from all European competitions. This includes the Champions League, Europa League and the Conference League.
This season, only Maccabi Tel Aviv has qualified for the group stage of the Europa League. And due to UEFA rules, none of the opponents will gain points, affecting the entire competition.
Maccabi's rivals are PAOK, Dinamo Zagreb where Arbër Hoxha plays, Midtjylland, Aston Villa, Lyon, Stuttgart, Freiburg and Bologna. Currently, no matches have been played and no points would be gained by the mentioned teams.
UEFA rule:
"If a club is disqualified or for any reason withdraws from the competition before having completed all its matches in the league stage, the results of all matches played up to that point remain valid. A points calculation will have to be made after the end of the league stage to take into account the cancelled matches."
"The league stage points from all matches played, including points won by clubs in matches against the disqualified/withdrawn club before its disqualification/withdrawal, are not adjusted in any way and are all taken into account for the calculation of the average points," the UEFA rule states.
