An exhibition on the life and career of the Italian football legend, Paolo Rossi, was opened in Tirana, this Thursday at noon in the premises of the National Museum. For the next three weeks (February 1 to 24), Albanian football fans will have the opportunity to see free objects, testimonies or reflections of the contemporaries of the great former Italian football player.

In his speech, the head of the AFF, Armand Duka, said that Rosi left physically, but has given a lot to football. At the same time, the Duke revealed that this exhibition was realized at the insistence of Prime Minister Rama, who was present at the ceremony.

"I am honored to open this ceremony for Paolo Rossi and other legends. We have many friends from sports invited. I want to thank Prime Minister Rama for being an initiator for this exhibition to be in Tirana. With us is also the head of the Federation of Italian football, a friend of ours who came to our country even in the difficult days of Covid. We also have here Arrigo Sacchi, a football legend. We also have the referee of Brazil - Italy in 1982.

We are lucky to have seen Paolo Rossi play football, especially at his peak in 1982 which gave Italy the World Cup title after more than five decades. This special exhibition inaugurated today at the National Museum and will be open to the public until February 24. All football enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see memorabilia and personal items belonging to the biggest personalities of world football over the years such as Maradona, Pelè, Alfredo di Stefano, Gerd Muller, Giuseppe Meazza, Sandro Mazzola, Bobby Charlton, George Best, Falcao, Lev Yashin, Ferenc Puskas, Franz Beckenbauer, Johan Cruyff, Dino Zoff, Hristo Stoichkov, Lothar Matthaus, Roberto Baggio, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Marco Van Basten, Michel Platini, Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Zinedine Zidane, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Luis Figo, Eusebio, Gianluigi Buffon, Francesco Totti, Andrea Pirlo, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Luka Modric and many others.

But not only that, as in this exhibition a special space will be dedicated to the history of Albanian football, curated by the Albanian Football Federation, where objects, relics and photos of historical moments will be placed as well as an important area on the floor the second of the Museum dedicated to the legends of the history of international football.

Thanks to the support of FIFA and some of the most important collectors in the world, this exhibition will also bring a series of unique objects such as jerseys, shoes, tracksuits, balls, photos, documents, trophies and medals belonging to the greatest legends. of world football including the jerseys of 47 Ballon d'Or winners from 1956 until today.
