Partizan introduced their new coach, Mladen Milinkovic, to the media today, who made it clear in his first words that he had come with the clear objective of fighting for the championship title with the Reds.
" I want to thank the director for the kind words and the president for the opportunity to work in such a big club as Partizan. I return after 8 years in Albania, the experience in the first two clubs was very good. I also believe that the people in the clubs where I was a coach before were very satisfied and I believe that I can make the fans all over Albania happy at the end of the season. Of course when you work in a big club the only objective is the title. That is why I decided to accept this offer because in the last 4 years I had the opportunity to work in the best club in Montenegro and win the title twice, once the Cup, we had a very good year in Europe. I think that is why the people who decide at the club chose me. Of course it is very easy to say when you are sitting here that I want this. Many clubs want the same thing, but we will try to do our best to end up where we want .
Is there time two weeks from the start? Of course, even if I were to start from the beginning, all coaches want more time. But we have this calendar where after two games we have a break for the national teams and I believe that after this break things can change as I want .
"Merkato? It's the first day, we have to see who we have first. The players who are here deserve it and have quality, obviously. I want to start working with him and we'll see. It's definitely necessary but we'll do everything together with the director ," Milinkovic said, among other things.
