Albania is getting ready to make its debut in "EURO 2024", on Saturday evening in the challenge against Italy, in Dortmund.
The attention of the international media is maximally focused on the challenge of our Red and Blacks, against the "Azzurre". For many of our footballers, this challenge will be very special, because they have been playing in Italy for years. Kristjan Asllani is one of them.
The Inter midfielder will face some of his Inter teammates on Saturday evening in Dortmund, such as: Frattesi, Bastoni, Darmian, Dimarco and Barella.
He gave an interview to the Italian daily, Corriere della Sera, where he stopped to talk about the emotions on the eve of the challenge with Italy.
"Is this a challenge like all the others? It would be a lie if I said yes, also because of the fact that I will be playing against many of my teammates", Asllani emphasized, among other things.
Then he also focused on the difficulties he and his family had when they arrived in Italy as an immigrant.
" I want to win this match for my father, who came to Italy by raft. I have Albanian blood and I will give my best for the jersey and my nation ", Kristjan Asllani added in his interview.
Undoubtedly, this match will be a very important challenge for our national team, so let's hope that our footballers will be at their best and why not give us strong emotions at the end of the match.
