
UEFA.com has prepared a special for the 24 participating teams of "EURO 2024", with their local nicknames. From the red and blacks to "Die Mannschaft", here are the nicknames of all the teams that will make history this month in Germany.
Germany – "Die Nationalmannschaft" (National Team).
Scotland – The Tartan Army (Tartan is the traditional cloth with Scottish cross motifs, with individual variants belonging to the various constituent clans of the country).
Hungary – The Magic Magyars (The Hungarian national dazzle of the 1950s, led by Ferenc Pushkash, was known to English speakers as the Magic Magyars).
Switzerland – "A-Seam" or "Nati" (National Team) or (Red Cross) due to the country's official languages, French, German, Italian and Romanian.
Spain – “La Roja” (The Red) or “La Furia Espanola” (The Spanish Fury).
Croatia - "Vatreni" or The Scary Ones. ITALY – "Gli Azzurri" (Blue) or "La Nazionale" (National Team).
Albania – Kuqeziinjte (Red and Black) or Schiponjat (Eagles). SLOVENIA – "Representation" (National). DENMARK – Danish dynamite or Red and White. SERBIA – Eagles. ENGLAND - "The Three Lions".

Holland - "Oranje" or Oranges.
Austria – "Das Team" (The Team).
France – "Les Bleus" (The Blues).
Belgium - "Red Devils".
Slovakia – Sokolets. ROMANIA – Tricolors.
Ukraine - "Synio-Zhovti" or Yellow and Blue.
