Torino has managed to defeat the reigning champions of Italy with a score of 3-0, in the valid match for the 19th week of 'Seria A', played at the Stadio Olimpico.
The first half was balanced between the sides both in terms of the number of shots on goal and the possession of the ball, until the 43rd minute, when Sanabria sealed the numbers 1-0 in favor of the Torinese, a result that also marked the end of the 45- the first minute.
The second half couldn't have started worse for the champions of Italy, who in the 50th minute were left with 10 players on the field, after Mazzocchi was sent off. Two minutes later in the 52nd, Torino would double the numbers through Vlasic, who sealed the result 2-0.
At the moment when perhaps a reaction from Napoli was expected, Torino gave the final punch, scoring the third goal, through Buongiorno, in the 66th minute. That would be enough and things would not change until the end. With this victory, Torino is in 11th place with 27 points, 1 point less than Napoli, which is in 10th place with 28 points.
Meanwhile, the other Seria-A match, between Udinese and Lazio, ended with the result 1-2. Initially it was Lazio who took the advantage scoring in the 12th minute through Pellegrini. The numbers 0-1 remained unchanged until the end of the first 45 minutes.
As the second half began, the game took on a different tempo and Udinese seemed to have found their game. This was then made concrete in the 59th minute, when Walance scored the equalizing goal and brought the numbers to 1-1.
With the numbers tied, the game became more open and the teams began to search for the winning goal. A goal that Lazio would find in the 79th minute, through Vecino, who made the numbers 1-2. With these figures, the full 90 minutes would be closed with Lazio getting a very painful 3-pointer.
With this victory, Lazio climbs to 6th place with 30 points, while Udinese remains in 16th place, with only 17 points.
