In Germany, the situation in which the former goalkeeper of the German national team Jens Lehman found himself is causing a lot of debate.
The former number one, who also had a brief spell at Milan, had been in the news in recent months after threatening a neighbor with a chainsaw.
The German court has handed down the sentence in the last few hours, as can be read on Corriere.it, with the former footballer having to pay a fine of 420,000 euros.
A decision taken by the Starnberg Court, with Lehman paying 2 thousand euros per month until it has paid the fine.
" He has always declared himself a victim, but he is an aggressor ", explained the judge who followed the case.
The facts in question, as mentioned, date back to a few months ago, with the janitor attacking the neighbor for some work that had blocked the entrance to the garage.
And on this occasion Lehman had used the chainsaw to threaten and destroy part of the victim's garage without physically harming him.
