FIFA's assessment of the Serbia-Albania match as a high-risk match forced the organizers not to put tickets on sale for free.
They were distributed to fans checked from lists sent by regional federations, clubs, football schools, football associations or sponsors. However, the check will be thorough, as confirmed by the head of Stadiums and Security at the Serbian Football Federation, Ljubislav Sekulic, in an interview with public television.
“ We ask fans who have secured tickets to come as soon as possible and support the team. Each ticket will have a first and last name, along with an identification number. Only with a personal document will you be able to enter the stadium. We will have two checkpoints: one in front of the stadium, one at the entrance to the stands, ” said Ljubislav Sekulic, head of stadiums and security.
To ensure that everything goes smoothly, numerous police forces have been deployed, while the Albanian delegation will be escorted during its movements. The "Duboçica" stadium, which has a capacity of just over 8,000 seats, will not be fully filled due to a penalty issued by FIFA.
