Poland's Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has warned Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating that Western countries are aware of Moscow's actions and will not allow further escalation.
Sikorski said that Russia has been conducting a broad hybrid warfare campaign against European countries for years.
"Russia has been waging hybrid warfare against us for years. The West has not recognized this, I think we all recognize it now. It's arson, it's murder, it's interference in our politics, it's massive disinformation and state terrorism," he told CNN.
According to the Polish minister, these actions pose a constant threat to European security and require a coordinated response from NATO allies.
CNN recalls that Poland has previously been warned by the United States that Russian President Vladimir Putin may order limited attacks on Europe, through drones or other forms of hybrid warfare.
In this context, Sikorski sent a direct message to the Kremlin.
"Whatever it is, our message to Vladimir Putin is: we know what you're doing, don't do it," he declared.
In another statement, Sikorski also spoke about the progress of the war in Ukraine, assessing that Russia is not achieving its military objectives.
"It's clear that he's not winning," the Polish minister said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
