Lara Kolturi finished in 12th place in her giant slalom competition at the next stop of the Ski World Cup, in Spindleruv Mlyn in the Czech Republic.
The red and black skier crossed the track at the end of both descents with a total time of 2 minutes 27 seconds and 73 hundredths, a position that came after a better performance in her second descent compared to the first. In fact, Lara Kolturi closed the second descent with a time of 1 minute 13 seconds and 36 hundredths, which placed her in 12th place in this descent, a time that is relatively much better than in the first descent where our 19-year-old was ranked 21st with 1 minute 14 seconds and 37 hundredths.
Meanwhile, this race was dominated by Sara Hektor, with the Swede winning both downhills with a total time of 2 minutes 23 seconds and 86 hundredths, followed in second and third place by Americans Paula Moltzan and Mikaela Shiffrin.
Returning to Lara Kolturi, the 12th-placed red and black skier managed to gain 22 points from this stop to reach 467 points and maintain 10th place in the overall World Cup standings. Leading her is Mikaela Shiffrin with 1033 points, followed in second place by Kamila Rast with 833, while Germany's Ema Aisher is third with 624 points.
On Sunday, Lara Kolturi will compete again on the Czech track, in the special slalom discipline where she has achieved the best results such as 2 second places in Levi and Gurgl and 2 third places in Copper Mount and Semmering.
