Marash Kumbulla was undoubtedly one of the biggest returns to the Albanian National Team after almost a year's absence, as a result of an injury that kept him out for a long time. The agent of the red and black defender, Xhani Vitali, in an interview with the Italian media, spoke about this return.
" This collection means a lot to him, especially on an emotional level. Plum has been through a terrible, complicated, long injury. Returning to the National Team, just before the European Championship, has a lot of value for him, in many aspects. He was looking forward to this invitation ", said Kumbulla's agent.
Vitali then reveals that one of the main reasons why he left Rome was precisely to be in shape for "EURO 2024": " Yes, absolutely yes, I believe there is no better occasion for a player than the European one. I believe that there will be a place for Kumbulla in this extraordinary tournament, plus Albania will debut against Italy, there are many expectations in this aspect, I am looking forward to it ."
" What will happen to the future of Plum? We have a pact with Roma, this transfer to Sassuolo was to gain more minutes. If possible we would like to come back in the summer. Marash has a contract with Rome until 2027, after that we will see ", concluded the agent of the Albanian defender.
