Unlucky Lara Colturi, stops in 15th place in Giant Slalom

Italian-Albanian skier Lara Colturi finished 15th in the next stop of the Ski World Cup, in the Giant Slalom discipline, which took place on the Tremblant slope in Canada. Despite a good start, the 19-year-old was unable to maintain the pace in the second run, losing ground in the final standings.

In the first run, Lara recorded a time of 1:08.78, which placed her in 11th place, leaving hope for a podium finish. But in the second run, with a time of 1:06.67, she placed in 15th place, which remained her final position with a total of 2:15.45, 2.45 seconds behind the winner.

The triumph in this competition was taken by Austrian Julia Scheib, while Sara Hector from Sweden came in second place and the podium was closed by Alice Robinson from New Zealand.

Lara Colturi, who represents Albania on the international stage, has registered two silver medals and one bronze this season, confirming herself as one of the most promising talents in the sport of skiing. Despite this result, she remains a serious contender in the upcoming World Cup competitions, which serve as key preparations for the “Milano-Cortina 2026” Winter Olympics.
