The Women's Skiing World Cup was moved to the Jasna track in Slovakia today. The Albanian skier Lara Kolturi was again the protagonist, this time in the giant slalom competition, where she was classified in 13th place.
Another good race for the 17-year-old skier (Italian, but with Albanian citizenship), who this season is systematically entering the "top-20" of the best in almost every race.
After the first descent, Kolturi gave a time of 1'13"83, while after the second descent he gave a time of 1'10"42. In total, after two descents, Lara Kolturi gave a total time of 2'24”25, ranking 13th.
Even in this competition, the Albanian skier left a mark with her appearance, confirming that slalom competitions are her specialty. This is the second season for Lara Kolturi in World Cup competitions, but this year she has accumulated many more points.
In total, Kolturi has accumulated 127 points in World Cup competitions and is ranked 38th in the world. Her points are accumulated in the slalom (70) and giant slalom (57) events.
The next day, Lara will be competing again in Jasna, but this time in the Slalom discipline. Lara is thus "subscribing" to the top 15 and consolidating her position in the general ranking and justifying every race more and more the predictions as a talent of the World Skis, as it is worth noting that she is only 17 years old.
