Argentina beat Colombia in Miami to win their 16th Copa America thanks to a goal in extra time.
The match remained scoreless until Lautaro Martinez scored in the 112th minute, sealing Argentina's victory.
Martinez, who finished as the tournament's leading scorer with five goals, scored the winner after a turnover that led to a breakaway. His shot went past Colombia goalkeeper Camilo Vargas to give Argentina the win.

As the reigning Copa America and World Cup champions, Argentina entered the tournament as favorites and maintained their status by not conceding a single match. However, they faced disaster in the final when Lionel Messi had to leave the game in the 66th minute due to an ankle injury.
The game was delayed due to security breaches
The match was delayed for more than an hour after fans without tickets tried to break into the stadium. Footage on social media showed scores of supporters, mostly in Colombia colours, climbing over barriers and evading security. The disturbance resulted in some fans needing medical attention and water in the intense heat. Eventually, security forces managed to contain the situation, allowing the match to continue.
Colombia started the game with energy and created several chances, testing Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez. However, they were unable to convert their chances into goals.
The defeat ended Colombia's impressive 28-match unbeaten run, which began after their last loss to Argentina in February 2022. Colombia were also without key defender Daniel Muñoz, who was suspended following a red card in their semi-final against Uruguay.
