Bournemouth midfielder Hamed Traore will be out of action for some time because he has been infected with malaria and has been hospitalized. The coach of the Premier League team, Andoni Iraola, announced everything in an interview:

It is worth noting that the 23-year-old has not been included in Ivory Coast's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on January 13. Traore joined Bournemouth in January on loan from Italian side Sassuolo before a £20m permanent deal became available in the summer.
Andoni Iraola has confirmed that midfielder Hamed Traorè is recovering after being hospitalized with Malaria.
