The winner of the bronze medal with England, the soccer player of the "3 Lions" national team is found dead in the forest

Gema Wiseman, the bronze medal winning footballer with England, has tragically lost her life just days before Christmas. Gema helped Great Britain to third place at the Deaf Football World Cup in Italy in 2016, and English media said her body was found on December 16 in a forest near Norwich.

She left behind her wife Lora, also a soccer player, and a 3-year-old daughter, and the official statement reads:

On December 16, 2023, Gema, unfortunately, passed away. Her family and friends were completely devastated. She was kind and caring with a great sense of humor. Wherever she went, she brought laughter and energy with her and easily befriended anyone who was lucky enough to meet her ."

Although she worked as a school assistant, Wiseman still played football for a number of local clubs.

Also, the media emphasize that the investigation into her death and the determination of the official cause will be revealed in July next year.
