After the Champions League matches, this Thursday the attention shifts to the Europa League and Conference League, where the grand finalists of this season will be determined. Eight teams will take to the field starting at 21:00, competing for the four places in the respective finals.
In the Europa League, the second leg semi-finals will be played between Aston Villa and Nottingham, as well as Freiburg against Braga. In the first leg, Nottingham triumphed minimally 1-0, while Braga won 2-1, securing a slight advantage ahead of the return legs.
However, Aston Villa have shown throughout the Premier League season that they are a team that does not give up easily and are expected to fight until the end for the overthrow. The Europa League final will be played on May 20 at the Besiktas Stadium in Istanbul.
Meanwhile, in the Conference League, Crystal Palace – Shakhtar Donetsk and Strasbourg – Rayo Vallecano will take place. In the first legs of the semi-finals, Crystal Palace and Rayo Vallecano won.
The English team Crystal Palace has a significant two-goal advantage and looks very close to securing the final on May 27, which will take place at the Leipzig stadium in Germany.
