A forward for Gvozdenovic, the former Kosovo midfielder joins Skanderbeg's squad

Liridon Balaj is the youngest player of Skenderbeu. The 25-year-old midfielder, recently part of the Belgian club Deinze, joins the Korçar club, having signed a 2-year contract.

Balaj went to training with Skenderbeu today and will now be part of the Korça team to fill the gaps in the middle of the field.

He grew up as a footballer in Kosovo at Besa e Peja until 2019, then moved to teams such as Arau in Switzerland, Schaffhausen in Germany and finally Deinze.

The player has been free since the end of last season and as a result the transfer to Skenderbeu was made with zero parameters and the federation has not had any official problems.

Liridon Balaj has also represented Kosovo in the past, as he made his debut in 2021, replacing Arbër Hoxha in the friendly against Guinea.
