After the transfer from Milan to Newcastle, the midfielder Sandro Tonali has made a farewell speech to the club and the red and black fans.
Through a post on his social network, Tonali thanked the fans and the club for the beautiful years they have spent together, as he added that he hoped that this was not goodbye, but "a farewell", leaving open the possibility of coming back after a few years.

I have learned a lot in these three years and I have found a football family between the clubs, teammates and technical staff, who have supported and guided me on my way. Thanks to you I was able to improve as a footballer and as a person. I understand that this farewell may evoke mixed emotions and it is normal that there is when leaving a large part of the heart, but it is important to remember that in football, as in life, changes are sometimes a reason for growth for everyone . Now I want to thank my people, you who, like me, carry the red and black colors in your heart. I will never forget the choirs of the South, the 19th Scudetto, all the wonderful moments shared and the love for our Milan.
