Albanian swimmer Grisi Koxhaku has been eliminated from the swimming competition at the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games. The news was announced by the Albanian National Olympic Committee.
In the freestyle category of 100 meters, Koxhak came fifth in his group, but was not ranked among the 16 fastest competitors who reached the semi-finals.
"Grisi Koxhak ended his race in 5th place in battery 3, with a time of 52.32. A modest competition for the debut athlete of Team Albania", announces the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH).
Koxhak is the second swimmer to be eliminated from the Olympic Games, after Kaltra Meça, who finished her race with a time of 2 minutes, 12 seconds and 21 hundredths, 16.42 seconds later than the first place.
