Serbia hosts Albania on October 11, in a World Cup qualifier. Milan Gajic, the midfielder of CSKA Moka, in a recent interview, has been honest about the lack of focus from coach Dragan Stojkovic. According to him, Stojkovic is not inviting him because of that red card he received in 2024 against Russia.
" I can't say I'm surprised. Everyone already knows my history with the national team. As long as the current coaching staff is there, there will be no place for me."
"I think I had the opportunity to strengthen myself in the national team when there was a match with Russia. I wouldn't say I played badly then, it was just that unfortunate episode with the red card. It is said that after that, the staff decided not to call me to the national team anymore. These are my assumptions, I hope I am wrong. But I respect the decision of the coaching staff ," the 29-year-old stated.
