City triumphs with "manita", Chelsea disappoints against Brighton;

At the Etihad, Manchester City returned to winning ways, after defeating Armando Broja's Burnley 5-1. The home team took the lead first thanks to Esteve's own goal, while the visitors equalized in the 38th minute through Jadon Anthony, who equalized after a beautiful, successfully completed move. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw. In the second half, the Citizens found the goal twice more, one of which was an own goal.

The reigning champions were defeated 2-1 by Crystal Palace. The home team took the lead after 8 minutes of play through Ismaila Sarr, who scored after a corner kick and chaos in the area.
