Dortmund won 0-2 away to Mainz, for the fifth week in the Bundesliga. The yellow and blacks led by Niko Kovač scored twice in the first half. In the 27th minute, after a model action and an assist from Julian Brandt, the Swede Svensson found the goal. In the 40th minute, again a fantastic combination between Adejemi and Brandt, where the German striker doubled the figures.
In the last 20 minutes, the home team was left with one player less. Dortmund took their third consecutive victory and moved into second place with 13 points, two points behind leaders Bayern.
In other matches, Leverkusen won 1-2 away against St. Pauli, Leipzig won 0-1 away against Wolfsburg. Heidenheim defeated Augsburg 2-1 at home. Leipzig is ranked third with 12 points, Leverkusen in fourth place with 8 points.
