World Cup play-offs, Slovak media: National team is not a favorite against
Slovakia is not a favorite against Kosovo

In an analysis by the Slovak newspaper "Pravda", Slovakia and Kosovo's chances of winning on Thursday in Bratislava are estimated at 50-50.

According to this newspaper, Slovakia is not the favorite, but has the support of the fans.

"Pravda" writes that Kosovo has no reason to feel like an outsider in Bratislava.

"The Kosovars will be strong, especially in attack. They have two top strikers: Vedat Muriqi of Mallorca and Fisnik Asllani. Muriqi is the second best scorer in La Liga, while Barcelona and Chelsea are interested in Asllani."

According to Slovak media, in attack the advantage is clearly on Kosovo's side. Meanwhile in defense and goal, "Pravda" has favored Slovakia.

Meanwhile, the sports director of the Kosovo National Team, Samir Ujkani, in an interview with Slovak media on the eve of the decisive match against Slovakia, spoke about the pressure, opponents and ambitions of the "Dardans" in this important phase.

He initially focused on the importance of the match, emphasizing that this may not be the biggest challenge for Kosovo, if they manage to overcome this obstacle.

"I hope it's not the biggest match, because if we make it in Slovakia, we'll have the play-off final in Pristina and that will be the biggest match. Of course, the players are aware of that," said Ujkani.

He also highlighted the continued progress of the national team, underlining that Kosovo is in a phase of growth and consolidation.

"We are in a phase where we are growing and making big steps. We had a tough qualifying group, we are proud of what we have achieved so far and we are becoming a really good team."
