Another Albanian footballer joins Serie A clubs. This time, it's a player who is still waiting to break into professional football. Goalkeeper Gabriel Guri has joined Sassuolo, where he will initially be part of the youth team for this season.
The goalkeeper, who started with the Ada e Velipoja academy and then with Murlan, moved to France in 2023 where he initially played for Shatero U-17, before moving to PSG U-19. He spent his final year with Le Havre U-19 and was now looking for another team to continue his career.
Sassuolo announced today that it has signed the player, who has two appearances for Albania U-19 and will now have the opportunity to show his worth in Italian football, in one of its important academies that has consistently produced talents for the first team.
