"La Gazzeta dello Sport" publishes the bombshell news. The Serie A club, Salernitana, has sued its striker Bulaje Dia, with the accusation of ruining the image of the club and lowering its reputation.

Salernitana coach Liverani asked the Senegalese striker to come on during the second half of his side's draw with Udinese on March 2, which the player refused. This has irritated the leaders of the club, who have not left it at that. According to reports, the club has taken the matter to court, initially demanding that the player's gross salary be cut by 50% until the end of the current season.

Also, the club leaders have considered the purchase of the player as a failure. They spent 15 million euros at the beginning of the season to buy the card and now they want a compensation. The club tries to legally ask the player for an amount of 20 million euros, to cover all the expenses they have made for him so far.
