Rei Manaj has started his second adventure with Sivaspor in the best way, scoring two goals in the 25th week of the Turkish First League. The Sivaspor team triumphed at home against Vanspor, while the first half ended with a score of 3-1.
The match was unblocked in the 8th minute, when Apindangoye gave the home team the lead after an assist from Valon Et'hemi, a former Kukës player. Sivaspor continued the pressure and in the 28th minute it was Rei Manaj who doubled the score, again after a crucial pass from Et'hemi.
Vanspor responded by temporarily closing the gap with a goal from Mamah, but the home team quickly regained control of the game. In the same minute, Manaj scored his team's third goal, this time from a free kick, sealing a successful first half for Sivaspor.
The Albanian striker's return to Turkey, after a six-month spell in the United Arab Emirates, appears to have started positively. Manaj aims to find optimal form ahead of the 2026 World Cup play-offs, scheduled for March.
