Lightning strikes in the open sky in Switzerland, Armando Sadiku's team

An unusual situation has occurred in Switzerland where the Bellinzona club has been officially notified that its license to participate in the country's second-tier football championship has been revoked. A decision that is related to the change in the club's owners.

Any transfer of ownership of clubs is reviewed by the Swiss Football League and the latter was not happy with the change of ownership that took place at Bellinzona, where shares passed from Pablo Jesús Bentancur to Colombian businessman Juan Carlos Trujillo Velasquez. Therefore, it has withdrawn the license it had granted the club in May and announced that it has 5 days to appeal the decision before it becomes final and it is excluded from the championship.

This has created a chaotic situation for the club, which had regained its smile at the weekend thanks to a 2-0 victory over Stade Nion, where Armando Sadiku, the author of the first goal of the match, also left his mark in the 2-0 success. Bellinzona currently holds the last place in the standings with 10 points after 16 matches played.
