He excelled against Germany, Granit Xhaka was chosen the player of the match by UEFA

Germany and Switzerland drew 1-1 in the final group stage match of Group A at Euro 2024. 

Fantastic performance in this duel by the Albanian midfielder, Granit Xhaka, who was chosen by UEFA as the best player of the challenge.  

"Xhaka was apparently everywhere tonight. From helping to get the ball forward to defending and making sure Germany's crosses don't get into the box. The captain was once again one of the most prominent figures", UEFA wrote on their official website during the match. 

He ran almost 12 kilometers, while at one point he reached a speed of 31.4 km/h. Pass accuracy was 84 percent. 

The second time that Granit Xhaka wins this award at Euro 2024, which he also did against Hungary in the 3-1 victory.
