Anis Mehmeti is enjoying one of the best moments of his career. The Albanian striker is scoring regularly in the Championship, the second tier of English football, standing out with his performances first at Bristol City and then at Ipswich.
According to the latest updates on the specialized portal "Transfermarkt", Mehmet's value has increased significantly. From 10 million euros, it has reached 14 million euros, marking the highest figure ever recorded for the 23-year-old.
This increase reflects his good form in the championship and his impact on the team during the current season.
With this new valuation, Mehmeti ranks as the most valuable footballer in the Albanian national team, surpassing midfielder Kristjan Asllani, who is valued at 13 million euros.
However, despite leading the market value, Mehmeti is not part of the plans of the national team coach, Silvinjo. The striker has not been called up since 2023, when his market value was only 1.2 million euros.
The situation creates a contrast between his current form and his lack of selection for the national team. So far, there has been no official statement explaining the reasons for his absence from the latest lists.
