Cristiano Ronaldo has criticized the coach of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, for the statements he has made regarding the objectives of the English club.

Ronaldo, who has played in two different periods with the "Red Devils", declared on his YouTube channel that the coach of a team like United cannot say that "the team cannot win the championship or the Champions League".

"Manchester United have to rebuild everything, in my opinion. But, as a coach of United, you cannot say that you will not fight to win the championship or the Champions League. Maybe you don't have that potential, but you can't say it publicly," declared the Portuguese striker.

Since Ten Hag took charge, Manchester United have finished third and eighth in the Premier League. The only trophies the team has are the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
