Vershtapen unreachable on the "home" track, another disappointment for Ferrari

Max Verstappen has delighted Dutch fans who have seen him dominate official practice for the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix. After a troubled start to practice as the rain-soaked track dried out, the reigning world champion made it who knows how to do better, setting a time unattainable by all others. 

The Red Bull Dutchman recorded a time that was half a second faster than the closest follower, Lando Norris in the McLaren car, which finds itself competitive again this season. In third place was George Russell with Mercedes, moving to the second starting line Alex Albon, who secured fourth place with his Williams car. 

The disappointment of these tests was Luis Hamilton, who was eliminated in the second qualifier and will start tomorrow's race from 13th place. 
 
Ferrari was also disappointed, far from the best, in sixth place with Carlos Sainz and ninth with Charles Leave. The latter the protagonist of an accident in the third session.
