Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix this afternoon, his 7th success of the season, his third at this track (61 in his career). The World Champion started the race from second place but quickly took the lead, keeping it until the end
In second place was British Landon Norris with McLaren. Although he started the race from pole position, he lost the lead at the first turn. However, Norris managed to move up to second place, with the McLaren faster than the Mercedes.
Luis Hamilton with Mercedes also climbed to the podium, third behind his teammate George Russell (fourth). This is an anonymous race for Ferrari, in places 5-6 with its two pilots, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who could not compete.
A deserved triumph of the Red Bull car, which seems to have passed the moments of crisis. At the end of the race, Oskar Piastri with McLaren (seventh), Sergio Perez with Red Bull (eighth), Pier Gasli with Alpine (ninth) and Esteban Okon with Alpine (tenth) were also ranked in the points zone.
