Kreshnik Spahiu stated that SPAK must intervene strongly to guarantee free and fair elections, not being satisfied with superficial actions.
He emphasized that the intervention of justice institutions in this process will leave a mark and may influence the prevention of electoral manipulation.
According to him, investigations into past elections such as those of 2017, 2021 and 2023 should not be used as a political tool in the campaign, but SPAK should focus on flagrant cases of vote theft.
"I think that SPAK's intervention will affect these elections. It will leave a mark in relation to all elections. I hope that SPAK will take concrete actions to prevent a process that could be greatly damaged. That success will be very cautious. The protagonism of some institutions could damage the process. Should SPAK investigate issues for 2021, 2023, 2017? These are issues that have been dormant for 14 years and do not serve the equality of elections, free and fair if they are brought up in the electoral campaign. SPAK should be active on flagrant issues. They have taken the keys to the elections and have prepared the ground. If SPAK does not get to the heart of how elections are being stolen, we will deal with superficial things. The system and free elections in Albania will be damaged," Spahiu said in '5 Questions'.
