The 20 arrested in Tirana, the journalist uncovers the behind-the-scenes: The
Tirana police director, Tonin Vocaj

Journalist Eraldo Harlicaj said this Friday in "Good Morning Albanians" that he felt sorry that during yesterday's report by the Tirana Police on the "Tempulli" mega-operation, the names of the police leaders involved in the crimes were not mentioned.

He said that as a journalist he investigated the entire operation, adding that disturbing contacts with people in the ranks of the state police were found on the phone of the arrested Enea Sulejmani.

"I have investigated the entire action and I have known since the moment that Enea Sulejmani's phone was broken. Disturbing links of his have been seen there. I was a little disappointed when I didn't see any police officers arrested. I will not reveal names, but I hope there will be a second action where there will be a cleansing of these individuals in the ranks of the police. I am talking about levels of directors", said Harlicaj.

He said that these directors who support crime figures are easily found as they proudly wear expensive accessories and have expensive cars which cannot be justified with the salaries they receive.

Harlicaj also said that after every criminal event in Albania, there are police directors involved, who share the percentages of the profits together.

"Every criminal activity in Albania is impossible not to have a protective hand, it is impossible not to have someone from the authorities offering protection. If we have a call-center, it is impossible to continue unless a police director tells them to continue and share a percentage together, this is what happens with prostitution centers, massage centers", said journalist Harlicaj.
