The number of people infected with measles is increasing in our country.
In the last two days, the Institute of Public Health has identified four new cases of measles.
The total number of children infected with measles since January 9 has reached 26.
Experts say that about 80% of infected children are unvaccinated, the rest have one or two doses of vaccine.
Infected children were mainly treated in hospital conditions and only a small part stayed in home conditions.
There are currently no hospitalized children.
The spread of measles came after the decline in vaccine coverage, which nationally dropped to 85.7% with the first dose and 92.8% with the second dose.
Tirana has the highest number of infections so far, 13 children.
