Criminal amnesty will be voted on next week.
The majority has decided to accept the proposals of the Democratic Party, presented by Enkelejd Alibeaj.
According to the amendment presented by him, the protesters of 2018-2020 will also become part of the amnesty.
The approval of the criminal amnesty requires 84 votes in the parliament, so it seems that the majority has decided to accept the proposals of the Democrats to reach the necessary votes.
"We will finalize this draft next week in the Laws Committee and then in the session where 84 votes are needed. Several amendments have been filed which will be considered in the laws committee next week and then in the session. We have a positive approach to some proposals made by the opposition", said Ulsi Manja.
Beneficiaries of the criminal amnesty are expected to be 600 prisoners, including persons convicted in absentia, those who are wanted or with final punishment.
The amnesty was deemed necessary to be approved due to overcrowding in prisons.
