Journalist Artan Hoxha commented on the investigative process against Sali Berisha, which was closed on Wednesday and will be sent for trial.
Hoxha stopped at Berisha's defense strategy, stressing that it would be better for him to remain silent, since anything he says in the meantime could be turned into an accusation against him during the judicial process.
But, he added that it is clear that Berisha is not very interested in the criminal decision, he is very interested in the battle with the public.
" I heard an explanation from Berisha that said, we bought a 400,000 euro apartment in Brussels because the prices in Tirana are more expensive.
So, I don't know who is advising him at this moment, but I think that famous joke of American sheriffs when they arrest you and say, from this moment on, every word you say will be used against you in the process.
And I think Berisha is doing the same. However, I am convinced that Berisha is not very interested in the court decision, but is very interested in the battle with the public ", Hoxha told Tema newspaper.
