Analyst Fitim Zekthi spoke about the possibility of creating a new political party by Lulzim Basha, after the stamp and logo of the DP passed to Sali Berisha by court decision.
Zekthi said that Basha and many leaders of DP branches are waiting for recourse. He stopped at the deputies who support Basha, Oriola Pampuri and Arbi Agalliu, where he said that they are weighing the situation.
"I personally have high regard for Alibeaj and Bejko for their serious attitude. No one can say that they are thieves, or that they cheated, today I enjoy this appreciation for those politicians. These are free people, they were not blind supporters of Basha. They were together because the party united them. They have different ideas now.
Mr. Basha is waiting for the appeal. There are many heads of branches who say that recursion is expected. I know that having leadership, ideas and credibility produces politics and parties. I hate anti-Berisha, anti-Basha speech, I am not even antri-Rama. In DP there is a large group of voters who think that Berisha acted wrongly, but they are not necessarily anti-Berisha.
If Basha does very badly in the 2025 elections, he will "die". Basha doesn't make sense anymore. Agalliu and Pampuri are weighing the situation, they want a movement to be formed, a political body to keep alive what was held in these 3 years. They are weighing which is the best. PD will join if it will be pro-SPAK with true democratic values", said Zekthi in "Tirana Live".
